The Poodle ArtistePoodles are well known for their creativity and eye for detail. We are fortunate to bring you a rare glimpse into the world of the poodle artiste as he shares with us his technique for creating a unique white-on-white objet d'art from a simple plastic container. Have your notepads ready as the master explains:
Start your plastic craft with a clean ice cream bucket. For this art project we will be showing a white-on-white technique so remove the red bucket handle.
Holding the bucket steady, carefully start your white-on-white design around the bucket.
Turn the bucket and continue adding your design.
Shape your plastic bucket into a unique and interesting design by using the jaw-crunch method.
When the desired shape has been achieved use the teeth-and-tear technique to scallop the rim of the bucket.
Your project is almost done and just needs a few finishing touches.
Choose a potted plant, a flower, and a decorative accent to emphasize your art.
The finished dog craft project against a textured background that highlights the beautiful white-on-white design. Note: The name of this famous dog artist has been withheld to protect the innocent .
