POODLE PLACE(tm) FLASH ALERT!

==============================================

Dear fellow poodle lover:

THE CONTAMINATED PET FOOD PROBLEM JUST GETS WORSE

The pet food contamination problem continues to worsen and
has poodle owners everywhere scared to death.

Since it is always best to make decisions from a position
of knowledge, here are a few resources we found useful
to help you learn more about the current situation and
protect your poodle from possible danger.

Understandably, many people are scrambling to find
alternatives to commercial dog food. There is a wealth
of information on preparing healthy, natural foods for
your poodle available on the internet -- some great, some
questionable. But if you don't have time to weed through
everything, you might like to check out the following
resources which we found to be both enlightening and,
in some instances, downright gruesome. See what you think.

Dog Food Secrets:
This site presents shocking allegations about the pet food
industry and what is actually in commercial dog foods. This
one made our skin crawl. It offers an industry expose' and
complete instructions for healthy homemade dog food recipes.

Healthy Food for Dogs:
John Miller's Healthy Food for Dogs site offers tons of
homemade dog food recipes from his several decades of
research and tips for making your own safe and natural
dog health care products.

The AVMA has a very informative recall information page at:

Specific recall lists containing brand names, batch numbers,
and manufacturing dates can be found here:

Menu Foods Dog Food Recall List (most brands here):

Del Monte Recall List:

Hills Pet Nutrition Recall List:

The Food And Drug Administration also provides recall
information at: http://snipurl.com/FDArecallList

With the commercial dog food recall list continuing to grow
and startling new revelations about the pet food industry
coming to light each day, we're planning on making some
immediate and dramatic changes to our poodles' diets.

We hope this helps clarify things a bit and provides added
information to get you through this worrisome situation
while protecting your poodle's health.

'til next issue, best wishes to you and your Poodle,

   - The Poodle Place Team

P.S., We just discovered a fantastic new online dog training
program developed by Hollywood animal trainer Dove Cresswell.
